Episode Notes

Everything has a price. Most people expect to get things out of life without paying. If you want happiness, first make someone else happy. Seek and you shall find!

“If I had an expectation that something that happened in years gone by in our relationship, and I wanted that same experience now… chances are it was because I wanted to take from that experience instead of giving to it.”

How can I give more to create a similar experience now? How do you want things to turn out? You must be able to pay that price, and it’s often not monetary. It tends to be our thoughts and attitudes, then being okay with the decisions that we’ve made.

When we’ve got something we really desire, coming up with the funds becomes easier. Clarity and knowing what we want takes time and introspection. What is it that we really want? We tend to focus on what we don’t want instead of what we do want. That introspection is not always easy!

Value yourself enough to communicate with someone else.  Let go of past assumptions or filters.  If I want love, I need to give love. If I want joy, then I need to give joy and give joy, then those around me that are vibrating like that will give joy as well. It starts with me again. External perspectives and conversations are so critical for open and honest conversations. It’s not a sign of weakness.

“When I give from a space of love, joy and kindness and true giving, I feel and get the rewards back based on how I feel.”
